The map above behaves like any other Google map:

Use the [+]/[-] buttons on the left side of the map to zoom in or out.
Drag the map with your cursor to move the map within the window.
Click the icon in the upper left corner to open/close the legend. With the legend open, you can switch between map and satellite view.
Click a marker on the map to select it, opening the legend on the left with the initials of the alumnus and their full address. With a marker selected, you can also get directions by clicking the "direction sign" icon in the upper right of the legend.
For additional functionality, click the "View larger map" icon in the upper right corner of the map. This opens in a new window and add a search function where you can search for initials, address components, city, state, etc.

Locations are relatively accurate, except where PO boxes have been deleted, putting the marker in the general area of the ZIP code. There is no personal information available from the map, so you won't have to worry about stalkers. Initials are formed by the first letter of the first name, the first letter of the last/maiden name, and, for women with married names, the first letter of the married names. Thus, three initials indicates a married woman, two initials indicates a man or woman using their name from school. First name is the legal first name, not necessarily the name they used in school.
